HNK Rijeka defeated Istria 1961 2:1 in the game of the 30th round of the Croatian championship.

Rijeka took the lead with goals from Murić (19 ‘) and Kulenović (36’), and a goal for Istria in 1961 was scored by Galileo (44 ‘).

With this win, Rijeka overtook Gorica in third place.
